Can mw:Extension:CentralAuth be enabled on Uncyclomedia-hosted wikis? Vlad26t (talk) 09:22, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

I believe Carlb can do that. I'll send that request through his email. Rhubella selo-02.pngRhubella Marie, the rat sockpreppie 3,003 preppieditsRhubella selo-01.png 19:27, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
Have you sent the request through his email? Vlad26t (talk) 08:41, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
I can not divulge so easily. In recent days there have been attacks of vandalism in a row, do you happen to have discord? Also, of which uncyclopedia do you edit? Rhubella selo-02.pngRhubella Marie, the rat sockpreppie 3,003 preppieditsRhubella selo-01.png 02:42, 11 July 2019 (UTC)
The problem with CentralAuth is that it requires renaming existing users if the same name is in use by different people on different wikis. This opened a huge can of worms on WP. Carlb (talk) 11:27, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
Is it even possible to import this? Rhubella selo-02.pngRhubella Marie, the rat sockpreppie 3,003 preppieditsRhubella selo-01.png 00:00, 14 July 2019 (UTC)
In 2015, the Wikimedia Foundation announced the single user login finalization (see mw:SUL finalisation and metawikipedia:Single User Login finalisation announcement). This was reached by renaming a number of these accounts to have "~" and the name of their wiki added to the end of their accounts' name. For example, a user called "Example" on the Swedish Wiktionary who will be renamed would become "Example~svwiktionary". Vlad26t (talk) 09:33, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
Same issues with Uncyclopedia; en.spoon made the mistake of staying with Wikia, and about thirteen thousand users renamed to add the en-gb:Special:Listusers/Un- prefix as part of an ill-advised userlist merge in 2015 was part of the dubious "reward" for doing so.
